I don't know if you could qualify for Medicaid. That depends on how many assets you have -- savings, property, etc. Something you may want to look into is a Medigap package from Medicare. I imagine your husband is beyond his initial enrollment period, so the premiums would be higher now. Still it may be worth your while to check.
