I order one piece footed pjs on line - cut the feet off and put them on Rainman backwards - been doing this for over twenty years. Llamalover is right in that at this time of year you can usually find pjs for adult men that are in characters for Halloween - they usually cost about half of what the pjs I order on line cost. Not sure how a typical grown man would feel about wearing these but for my disabled adult son - it's no problem. Just bought him "Woody" from Toy Story - but of course he has it on backwards so he doesn't get to enjoy the full look - but my baby looks awfully cute to me!

We also use an extra large reusable pad. That was 35" x 70". We had 3 of those. Hope you find something that works.

Depends are not very good briefs. We used Tena Pull Ups with a Tena extra large nighttime pad inside. He was semi incontinent at night. Some nights we just needed to remove the insert and put in a new one. I don't know how to keep his briefs on night. One night my dad took off his briefs around 3 or 4 times. For my mom, we use the Tranquility overnight pull ups, with a large insert, that is like a jumbo maxi pad, I believe it is also made by tranquility, so the skin doesn't get wet. them we put a depend pull up on over all that. My mom has 24/7 care, but overnight, if she doesn't make a sound, the aides only check her for wetness about every 2 hours. In the recent past, she would be wet overnight and not changed for maybe 6-8 hours, and she developed a sore like a bed sore.at the base of her back where the wetness would accumulate. Adults who are incontinent or have to use diapers need to be attended to just like babies so they don't get diaper rash, UTIs or worse.

The bed pad I found through Costco is GREAT. Manufacturer is Conni and it is called Bed Mate. The pad absorbs 68 fluid ounces and somehow stays pretty dry to the touch and it does not seep through the backside. A little on the pricy side but I wish I had found these 5 years ago.
The same company also makes underwear with absorb-able pads that I would work quite well. They are washable.
Adult "onesies" do work. I had a problem with the one I tried on my husband due to his size. He is rather tall, 6'.4" and at the time over 250 pounds so the onesie that I had was a little tight and I was afraid of pressure marks around the leg and armpit.
The "condom" catheters work well IF he does not "re adjust" himself during the night. They would not have worked on my husband as he tended to move himself around. (Hey, everyone needs a security blanket right..) They work very well now since he is sleeping about 23 hours out of the day.

We've used tranquility overnight pants for a couple of years. They seem to keep the wet off the skin. Additionally I use a large pad to catch any overflow. Haven't really found the ideal solution either, but this seems workable with at least one overnight or early change.

My husband had a stroke in 2010. Several years ago, we discovered the male external catheter. It saved my life, as we both are getting uninterrupted sleep. No more messes! Hugs!

I've heard them described as adult onesies. It's like a jumper that fastens in the back and they are not able to take them off, thus, they are not able to remove their depends. I think they are available online. I'd be careful to get a more absorbent depend though, since if he's wet, he's not going to be very happy. I'd get a monitor so you can hear when he awakes. You may still want to change the depends during the night, but at least, he won't be able to wet or soil the bedding, before you can get to him.

Try searching the web for "anti strip clothing". Yes, there really is such a thing ;)
