Anyway,the answers that I am seeking is whether there is a "Grace Period" for signing up for Part B when I arrive homes.It appears that I MUST enroll during the January 1 to March 31 unless you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period,but just like everything else government related,it isn't cut and dried.So that part of the question is unresolved.A person returning to the US does have 2months to select a Part D however.
Then there is the question about how your monthly premium for Part B is calculated.I think I read that the monthly payment premium is based on your income 2 years back.That means if I enroll in 2017,may premium is based on my income from 2015..I hope that is correct.
