Long term care is anything greater than how many days?

My husband has Lewy Body Dementia and now sleeps alot. He gets up to eat and goes right back to bed and says he is tired all the time. Is this a part of this disease? What stage of this dementia is he in?

It's not that simple. Let's say you go to rehab for 20 days, covered by Medicare. But after only a week you cannot progress at all. Your PT is then discontinued and you become a long-term care resident not covered by Medicare. You either private pay or apply for Medicaid.
