Where can I find affordable housing in the San Fernando, California area?
I am in a two story house but have difficulty with the stairs. I live with my son and his family but they would rather I not be here. I am on a low fixed income with no resources.
I live in Burbank so I know California real estate prices. If you can't afford San Fernando you should try murrietta or temecula. If not there Arizona.
Your best bet is to call your local Agency on Aging which would have that type of information. There should be senior rentals where the rent is based on your income level.
You are doing the right thing, finding a new residence that doesn't have stairs. Bravo for you planning ahead. And just think, you would be around people of your own generation to talk with, and do activities :)
