Anyone here have a loved one that experience auditory hallucinations?

My mum has auditory hallucinations too, after she lost her hearing all of a sudden. She has a condition called "musical ear syndrome" where she hears music constantly playing. There have been times when she's heard voices, but none of them made sense...it was just voices and that's it. If your mum is able to have "conversations" as part of her auditory hallucinations, you may need to get professional help. These hallucinations can be very scary for your mum and she may need medication to deal with them as they progress.

If she is having such elaborate hallucinations I question whether or not they are strictly auditory. I'm answering to bump this up, in the meantime you might want to search the forum as there are many other posts about hallucinations you might find helpful.
