Not sure what papers you are referring to but it sounds like it's time to go for mental patient care. I see by your profile that your mother has Alzheimer's and is in the hospital. Perhaps she went to a NH from the hospital? Someone with a similar problem will hopefully see this post and tell you what they did. I hear others talking about mental evaluations and hospital stays where the patients medication is adjusted. At this point you may have no other choice. But I'm not sure if that is appropriate for Alzheimer's patients. My husband has a cousin who is bipolar as well as other issues. He is a very sweet person but every year or so he gets thrown out of where he lives because he loses it and attacks whomever has crossed the line with him. He is currently living in a home with a young managing couple and four other patients. His brother found it through his social worker. It's a couple of hours away from his extended family but it's the best they could do. I hope you find help for her soon.
