Is being wobbly and lacking balance a symptom of progression of Alzheimer's disease?

I don't know about Alzheimers, but, I read that with Vascular Dementia, loss of balance is quite common. My LO had horrible balance when she was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia. It's continued with her too. Now, she's wheelchair bound, but, still has terrible balance when she stands to transfer.

I'd discuss with your doctor and figure it out. There are other things that an cause it, like inner ear, medications, infections, vertigo, blood pressure, neurological disorders, low iron,  etc.
