As long as your Mom is still eating and taking in liquids, as small as that is, she should do ok while you are gone.
We have to remember that our elders are not burning up a lot of calories, thus many will eat very little. And sometimes one's stomach will hurt if they do eat too much, so they learn over time what is best for them.
Has your Mom been evaluated for Hospice? You could request that. A Hospice doctor and staff will be another set of eyes and ears for your Mom.
