How often can I, the caregiver, use respite?

Not sure about Medicare. Call and ask.

Medicare paid residential respite? Weekly emotional needed respite? At a minimum you need one afternoon a week, but more if possible. Residential Medicare paid respite is only if someone is on hospice.
