Is mental abuse from someone living in a home with an elderly person enough to bring charges against them?

It has to be physical or at least the threat. Then you have to be tough and refuse to let them back in your life once they are released.

One can always file charges but what do you want to happen? Do you want the abuser removed from the home? Do you want the abused to be taken to a facility? What does the abused want?
