How long does an APS case last?

I was recently accused of very random things from a client who I have constantly gotten onto for being extremely perverse. To top it all off, he never called the company and only brought things up when the company initiated conversations with him about other things. It's been over a week since the main nurse said she turned in the complaint to APS. I have called APS twice to see if anything has been received. (One week with no pay, I kinda want this to hurry.) The company has expressed constantly how they do not believe the accusations, but yet when I call to see if they have a case number or investigator number, they get aggravated and keep telling me APS is lying. They won't tell me if they have my information. From what I have read, Texas APS gets in contact withing 24 hours of receipt of report. This whole ordeal is causing me financial and physical harm. I can't eat, or I over eat. I am losing hair and I am depressed. I have proof that the accusations are false to any who are curious, but I can't shake the feeling that there is some bs going on that no one wants to confess to.

I've talked to aps constantly to check to see if they've gotten anything, the lady I keep talking to says they have nothing, but my persistence shows that I'm telling the truth, and I explained everything to her. I've called the company that "turned me in" and I keep getting the same crap, " we've turned it into aps, the state, corporate, and somewhere else. But they've heard morning back. I agree someone is lying, because with there being a gun accusation, and it was sent to state, someone would have been hitting me up pretty quick. Or at least that's my opinion, I found another job that I started yesterday, the pay is better, but the hours are low. Thanks for the advice.

If APS has not contacted you, I tend to think a complaint was never filed. Talk it over with an attorney, I think you are being lied to. In the mean time, file for an unemployment claim.

Dear Julye,

Sorry to hear what you have been through. I would call APS myself to see what is happening. Here is a link:
