I am my mother's caregiver and until recently I was working part-time, but I am now unemployed. Is it possible to get paid to care for my mom?

Check with your State. Some States have a program to pay family caregivers. I don't know what the rules are for this. However, I do know Medicare will not pay for private care. If she has other disposable income, then you can contact an elder law attorney to see if a contract can be formally written up (in case you're audited by the IRS) for her to pay you.
