Is there a senior center that could take my mom for a few days a week to socialize with other seniors?

You would need to call your local Agency on Aging to find out where is the nearest senior center, and if they offer transportation.

I hope there is one close to you, as I have read on the forums here that these centers are really great for senior to be around their own generation :)
