My 81-year-old mom needs outpatient rotator cuff surgery followed by a rehab facility for one week. Insurance won't pay. What can I do?
She lives alone.

I just saw it was outpatient so she doesn't fit the criteria for Medicare. See if Medicare will pay for in home. She will need somekind of PT. Unless GM has money, she won't be ale to afford facility rehab.

Is it that because Medicare feels that therapy can be done at home or GM hasn't been in the hospital for three days?
