I am concerned about possible digestive system side effects of Prilosec. Has anyone had experience with using this medicine with LBD patients?

Prilosec has been prescribed for my LBD husband's GERD reflux problems. His GERD problems actually seem not so severe that he absolutely must take the medicine. I have hesitated starting the Prilosec, fearing that it may increase his tendency toward loose bowel problems. Has anyone had experience with using this medicine with LBD patients?
