Does Medicare cover adult day care just a few hours a day a few days a week?

Medicaid pays for day care programs. Medicare does not.

I was told Medicare does not pay for daily living care but they will sometimes cover bathing, and some at home therapy. Caregivers need to be self pay. I have heard that for those who qualify for Medicaid, not Medicare, that there is some money available for in home caregivers. At least that is what I have heard. I am not much help ;-)

Medicaid is the program that might cover day care. Sometimes VA aid & attendance.

Aphk, I went on the Medicare website and checked the list of things that Medicare would or would not pay, and I didn't see Adult Day Care mentioned at all.
