Do I need to report my mom's inheritance when I reapply for food stamps and Medicaid?

I am her caregiver and am on food stamps and Medicaid, but she is separate from me. Thank you.

Should have also addressed the Medicaid part of question but the answer is the same....her inheritance is irrelevant to your eligibility.

Based on what you said, you are receiving food stamps just for yourself. Your mother's income and assets are irrelevant to your food stamps eligibility. No, you do not need to report anything about her for your eligibility. If she is getting assistance to help pay you to be her caregiver or has state medical or food stamp eligibilty on her own, then she should report it in regrads to any impact it may have on her benefits. I do food stamp eligibilty at work every day. Don't worry about her money for your food benefits

Dear caregiver00,

I'm not sure, but I would suggest posing this question to Medicaid representative for clarification.
