My stepmother put my father in a home, do I have rights to get custody of him?
I want him to live with me, he has dementia.

Does he want to live with you?
Is he still competent to make those kinds of decisions?
By "get custody" do you mean obtain legal guardianship?
How much time do you spend at the assisted living facility with him now? How does that work out?
