He is unable to do routine things such as showering. He needs help shaving, has forgotten how to turn on the faucet, urinates in the laundry basket, etc., etc. He started this downward spiral about 3 months ago, and has become very agitated, sometimes violent and combative. I finally had to put him in a facility. He was there a week, every day of which they called me to come and "calm him down". They couldn't handle him. He was sent to a neuro/psychiatric hospital for evaluation. Now I can't find a nice facility that will take someone who is combative. What to do?

What was the result of the neuro/psych evaluation? Did they come up with a drug or combination of drugs that would help with his agitation and anxiety?
