What devices are available to remind our elderly father to take his pills?

I downloaded a talking pill reminder app onto an old Android phone that I have. I set the phone beside my mom's chair. It audibly reminds her every time she needs to take meds. This works great. She NEVER remembers otherwise. But, with the audible reminder, she takes them consistently. Good luck.
