Not really as the treatment is usually compression with ace wraps. Rule of thumb is compression, elevation and dietetics. Those bandages can fall off and often do. In home care I did the dressings and taught the family to do them. Unless it’s a UnaBoot - which is done infrequently by lay staff. Venous ulcers tend to be chronic thus the need to teach the family how to change them and clean the skin & clean.
According to the article I read this needs specialized treatment by a doctor or nurse trained in the care. Not sure if a long-term facility would do this. You may need a wound care facility. Where my daughter worked wasan outpatient facility. http://woundcare-center.com/articles/burns/
