Brother is trying to take the home.

My mother had a slight case of dementia starting to set in. I found out that my brother had gotten my mother to let him see her bank account numbers. Found out he used them to pay his 2 month light bill and 700 for his security system through Time Warner. When we confronted him he immediately made my mom to believe that my sisters and I were were bad etc. He has a criminal background for stealing. He through the years has stole repeatedly from my parents but because he is handicapped my mother would never report to the law afraid he would go to prison and they would hurt him.

Why was your mother willing to do what her son wanted her to do? Do you think coercion was involved?
