76 yr old mom sleeps all day. I don't known how to help.

She's in assisted living. At 70 she started declining fast. Is now sick w bladder infection and nurse is very concerned that she sleeps too much. Drs are not much help but I can't her motivated to do anything. Worried she's given up at only 76yrs old. Any suggestions
