Looking for assisted living referrals that take Medicaid.

I have found that links are not allowed here, but are intact enough that if you copy and paste the info into google they will usually get you where you need to go.

Please note that due to overwhelming demand and need for services, California has instituted a waiting list for Medicaid Assisted Living Waivers.
In March 2017, California’s Assisted Living Waiver Program reached its capacity of 3,700 participants. The Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS) has instituted a waitlist, and on May 22, 2017 began accepting “Waitlist Request Forms.” Individuals interested in holding a spot on the waitlist should contact a Care Coordination Agency in their county to complete a one-page Waitlist Request Form.

If you are looking for assisted living in Orange County, Florida, I was given this website yesterday for Assisted Living Facilities that have only 5 residents and they do accept Medicaid. I was advised that Medicaid paid $ 375.00 a month for a Personal Care Home and $1,000.00 for an Assisted Living. The difference between the two is that for the Personal Care Home, the owner of the home lives at the residence.
