4 years ago my mother fell and almost lost an eye. My daughter lived 5 minutes away and I lived 2 hours away, since then my mother fell 2 months ago and hurt her arm. We have her living with us now. We found out over $90,000 is missing from her account. So we had a Power of Attorney signed over to me again. My daughter, her grand daughter showed up with a social worker trying to put my mother in a home. The social worker said our power of attorney was no good because she is not capable of making decisions. My Mother is forgetful but still recognises everyone and is capable of telling you what she wants, even if she forgets who's president. So I told the social worker then my daughter is no good also as she had the dementia when she signed that also. I have been her executer and power of attorney for over 20 years. Please any advice?
