Help with transfer when dad visits my home?

Ok thanks everyone. I’ll figure it out. I was just wondering in case I wanted to bring him to my home to visit us here, get out of LTC and see his grand cat who he loves.

You might check with the LTC where he lives to see if they have someone who could accompany him. It might be a place to start.
A private duty nurse? One of the agencies that provide home health aids?
I think I would start with his facility and then call others in your area. Hire them for half a day or whatever time needed.
I know if I would not have had my brother it would have been a big problem for me with my dad. Come back and let us know how you worked it out.

Isn't there a male family member who could do this? Why does he have to come to your house? Party? If so maybe better by go there.

He would just be at my home for few hours stay. So I would hire them for the same amount of time as his visit. (For example 3 hours)  That way they would be available to help. I guess my explanation wasn’t clear in my question.  

Home health agencies usually require a 2-hour minimum for their workers and even if you could get an agency to send someone out several times a day for 2-hours at a time how do you know your dad won't have to use the bathroom in between visits from a caregiver?

That sounds a bit tricky... after all, it's not that you'd need someone for a few hours, more that you would need someone several times each day for about half an hour, and I can see it being quite difficult to get that kind of service reliably. I can understand your not wanting to manage transferring and toileting yourself, but it might still be best to get a really clear picture of what exactly is involved and how it's done. Would you or your father or the LTC staff object to your observing routines, just so you can get the hang of them in theory at least?

For the visit to the dentist, why not ring the dentist's office and ask how they usually manage wheelchair-user patients? They probably have their own methods either of examining people still in their chairs, or of transferring them safely - they can tell you what sort of hired help you might need.
