"I am not sick. I don't need help" by Xavier Amador, have you read it?
I was reading about anosognosia and dementia and this book was recommended. Has anyone read it and found it helpful? Is it applicable to caregiving for a LO with dementia?
I checked goodreads and the book is subtitled "How to Help Someone With Mental Illness Accept Treatment" and is geared toward manic depression and schizophrenia, while there might be parallels it's not really suited to dementia. On the other hand if you can afford to buy it then it never hurts to learn new things.
