Check for faith programs on the internet as well. Where I live it is an interfaith community services program, tons of aid. Respite care, rides, meal delivery, yardwork, maintenance projects, tax return aid, etc. All volunteers helping in their community.
Makeithappen, call your local agency on aging to see if there are any volunteer or low cost groups that can help you with seasonal help. Some high schools do this as a fund raiser for clubs.
I've had paid lawn care and seasonable pickup for many years, and it can be very expensive. As the years pass by the back yard feels like it keeps doubling in size :P And I think back to when I use to do it all myself.
