Hi I think we need more information. Does your mother object to moving? Are there other barriers to her moving? What stage of dementia? In early dementia people can make their own decisions. If she is in late stages and there are barriers to her moving you will have to ask her physician for a statement that she is not competent to make decisions. But if she is not strenuously objecting and there are not other barriers to the move, you should be able to just do it. Tell us more if you can. Best of luck Margaret
