DawnDraney, what does your employment contract say about what are your chores? That in itself should be your guide.
Or are you working through a caregiving Agency? If yes, talk to the scheduler to see if there are other openings, or talk to the head person about your work load.
What is being expected? I care for mom and that involves, changing, feeding, cleaning, laundry, mopping, shopping, entertaining, singing, patting, comforting, lifting, Wheeling, cooking, bathing, hairdresser, ....it does take a lot of work.
