My dad (88) is in Hospice for lung cancer and Myleodysplasia. Heart doctor wants to do stent carotid artery requiring a hospital stay. Will hospice allow this?
Will Hospice allow, if not how long before he can be reinstated?
If he is in hospice then it is acknowledged that he is a dying man, maybe not immediately but soon. You have to ask yourself, how many days or weeks of extra life might he gain from such a procedure, and would the pain and suffering involved be worth it?
