Don't remove anything without talking to the doctor who prescribed it, or the pharmacist like cwillie suggested.

There are many medications that come in a patch, which one are you asking about?
And I've always relied on our pharmacist to give advice about medications, they've gone to school just as long as doctors do and that is their area of expertise.
