If not, is she in hospice care? Glazed eyes, or a thousand yard or blank stare is something I've only seen in relatives who are entering the final stage of life. But I'm not that experienced in this aspect, and I suspect there are others who'll post with more succinct information.
BTW, have you discussed this with her family, if any, or one of her doctors? Are you providing home services or health care?
