When will you care enough to send out caregivers who are fragrance free?

Sometimes caregivers need to be told, frankly. I had to tell two that using undiluted bleach in a closed environment, in the late winter, wasn't acceptable.

Most hospitals, health care offices and facilities here are scent free, I'm not certain if our local home care agencies stress that or not. One area where even well minded people may err is not considering that moisturizing lotions, antiperspirants and talcum powders can be heavily scented, often all it takes is someone pointing this out.

Sandy, we are not the caregiving agency, so we can't do anything to help you . Suggest you call the agency and talk to the manager to address this.

I agree, though - strong odors can be a serious problem to those with breathing problems or allergies.

Why don't you tell the caregiving agency? Or change agencies.
