Now for 3 days she refused to eat or drink. In those days I think I've gotten 4 or 5 sips of water that she has taken. Got so many people telling me what to do, I'm just overwhelmed. My mother lives with me and my husband and has for 16 yrs. Don't know what to do.

I am so sad for you having to watch as your mother’s life slips away.
You’ll have to have a doctor’s order for hospice to provide care. Call your mom’s PCP & ask them to get the doctor to write the order for hospice.
This is a difficult time for you and you can use some help. Hospice can provide that.
Have you called her doctor? Do that or call hospice for an evaluation. They will come to your home and help you manage mom’s care.
