An acquaintance has communicated false statements about me and as a result, several people have been harassing me. Any advice?

My home was broken into several times, a dead animal was thrown on my porch, and human feces was left on my property. A man from my neighborhood has been in my yard, glaring at me and he rides a very loud motorcycle past my home up to 10 times within 5 minutes.
