Can you document the abuse and present it to the Court? If you're represented by counsel in the guardianship proceeding, raise the issue with him/her; a request for an emergency hearing could be scheduled to address a critical issue.
How do you know? Have you been told this only by your parent? Have you got proof? If not, get some. Is your parent violent, dementia? Remember that they 'forget' a lot and make up a lot. Basically they lie, but do not always know they are.
Do you have an independant (like APS) that you can report this too? Do it anyway. Better to be safe (and look a little silly if it is wrong) than sorry and parent is being hurt.
