Where can I find caregiver support groups that don't cost $$$?

I've never heard of a caregiver support group that costs money. Is this group therapy run by a mental health practice? In that case they charge for therapy, and insurance should cover it. But a true support group generally has no fees.

Call your Area Agency on Aging to find the resources you need.

All our support groups that I know of are free.. check with your local area on ageing or MC facilities. The MCs here have groups that meet monthly and are free to non resident families.. they probably assume you may need their services down the road. When mom was in rehab, we looked into their MC for a possibility for dad down the road.. they were very welcoming.
