Thanks. I do know that. It is just a depressing addition to all else that is not healthy with her. Its sad to say but she has been somewhat of an challenge to cope with for years. Although she takes medicine now she has been a Christian Scientist for years. I dont feel any of her praying has solved her health problems. So now she prays and takes medicine. I think prayer is fine but not in lieu of needed medical attention.
I just wonder, worry if she eventually has to go into nursing facility from assisted living how much more difficult her weight issue will be. I am beyond solving it. It has been too emotionally exhausting for me. I see so few overweight people if any at her AL. I just think about when this might develop into a more serious level. Just wondered if others have this issue.

My mom's first, much loved roomie was a treetrunk. She was deaf and aphasic and loved Wheel of Fortune.
My mom, who against all odds, turned into a twig, was also aphasic. I don't think it mattered a fig what their weight was in the end.

I think this is just not your responsibility at this point in her life. Nursing homes deal with persons of all weights and sizes.
