Where are y’all reading/finding all the extra information not shown in original post?

Hi there! In several answers to questions posted I read all kinds of additional information that I didn’t read in the posters question. Sometimes lots of information. Where are y’all finding that? Ex: I just read one the other day and what was showing in the question omitted the relationship of the loved one. Yet in so many of the replies the LO was referred to as “your father”. But that’s only one example. So often there are many other special comments that absolutely were not referenced in the question. What am I missing? Thanks!

And sometimes if you type the person’s screen name into the search box, some of their previous posts will come up. There are a few posters on this site that post quite frequently. If their situations are quite emotional, we tend to remember their “history”, and in the case of a few who suddenly stop posting, we’re more of less left “hanging” and wondering how it all worked out.

Also, right after the post, if there are more than 10 answers, a box may appear on the right hand side of the page saying "sort by" and you can click either "most recent" or "most helpful." If it says "most helpful," some posts won't show up, and they may have information in them that the posts that do show up, refer to.

This group has it’s own ‘lingo’ and they’ve known one another a long time. Also, some people write a profile and then you can go back to older posts and get information.

You click on the original posters name and read their profile.

Also, there are some of us who have been here for 5+ years. Some of us remember the details of previous posts.
