My mother has Alzheimer's and has been evaluated for the nursing home but has not yet been approved by Medicaid. How do I get her admitted now?

Medicaid is in process. She needs to be admitted now because I cannot watch her 24/7 and she is a danger to herself. Hospice says she cannot be left by herself. The nursing home says she had to be approved by Medicaid and Medicaid says she has to be in the nursing home for 30 days before it can be approved. What do I need to do to get her in? She can barely walk and falls frequently.
