Thank you GardnArtist and freqflyer..
to clarify, my Dad is 94 and is living independently... however, he needs cataract surgery and is not walking well at all.... we are looking for someone to come and help occassionally.

Dee, do you get the Medicare and You booklets published annually? They provide a good synopsis of what Medicare will provide.
But by "in home care", do you mean post rehab, or on a regular basis? It makes a big difference.
Tell us more about what kind of "home care" you need.
