I was referred by a friend, but not sure if my situation is appropriate for this site. I am 77, caring for a 53 yr. old son looking for support.

My son suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in a motorcycle accident 15 mo. ago and has been living with me for 10 mo. There are support groups available in my area, but timing is always problematic between my son's therapy/ M.D. appts., and mine. I need more PRN support. Thank you!

Im so sorry to hear of your son's tragic accident.

Please remember to take care of yourself too. The caregiver needs to be in good physical and mental health.

Take advantage of anyone who will give you respite. See if any VA or Social Security programs can help you out.
