My mother has been placed in hospice care in her home. Do we need to continue to keep her supplemental insurance?

What is her prognosis? Everything hospice related is covered by Medicare. If you know for sure that she’s nearing the end if life, I would cancel it.

Yes, you don't what is going to happen. Plus, by having the supplement insurance there is a good chance the medical expenses will be covered.

I think it would be a good idea. People can come off hospice. Sometimes there are conditions where hospice will allow outside medical assistance. Try not to make any big decisions right now.
