Can I get a free vehicle for father in law's transportation?

I'm stuck in a bad situation. I need a vehicle to take my father in law to and from the doctor and to get his meds, plus grocerys etc. He ways 240 pounds and 6 foot 1. The car I have no longer runs. I had a very hard time getting him in and out of because he can walk but he has a muscle diesease and dementia. Can someone please help me..... dennis the do it all person
