Should I tell Mom with dementia a family member's mother is hospitalized?

Thank you for your reply Isthisrealyreal. My parents do see her. I feel better that I get some input from people who’ve gone through these issues. The family members Mom has gone through alot. My sister feels we should tell my parents. I’m going to keep it as simple and discreet as possible. I feel I’m the one who has to help out with Moms emotions most. I’m nearby geographically Thanks for your suggestions. Much appreciated😊

Does she normally have contact with this person? If not it may never come up, but if she expects to see this person she may notice the absence.
