My Mom is 91 and in a nursing home. Will it be beneficial to get hospice for her? If I do, will NH staff do less for her?

I've heard good and bad things about involving hospice. She has fallen many times, and recently suffered a laceration to her forehead and a hairline fracture to her hip.
