My mother is 81. She can't take care of herself. She fell in Dec and broke her hip and had surgery. She was in 2 rehabs and came home and still can't stand or walk. She has a little dementia. I either have to work or stay home and get paid for caring for my mom if possible. Friends say they have friends in other states who get paid to stay home and take care of their parent(s). They say it is not from insurance etc.

You also need to consider your own earnings and savings and contributions to a pension for your care when you age. In most cases a jobs provides for those much better than the alternative. Don't toss your future away. Good luck.
Call the Area Agency on Aging in her county. They will help to identify resources she may be eligible for. AAA can also do an assessment to determine her care needs.
