How do you protect furniture from accidents?

Fabric store sells rubberized flannel at a fairly reasonable price, buy a couple yards so you can cut to desired size, bed, chair, car seat, etc. It can be washed and dried. I usually cover chairs with a sheet with pad under the sheet. You can also buy disposable waterproof pads thru medical outlets or where they sell or rent durable medical equipment. Hope this helps.
